Following the request from several upscale villa owners to reduce their energy bills by implementing a Photovoltaic Panels solution, we decided to develop a solution for this purpose. These villas were already equipped with home automation systems such as KNX for managing lighting, heating, hot water, pool, and charging stations. We proposed to take the initiative further by adding energy storage through solid batteries and implementing Graf’nX (online energy dashboard) and EMergy’nX (energy optimizer) solutions. We will describe the findings, actions taken, and energy savings achieved.
