In my project, I have been integrating all the smart systems with KNX. Lighting is controlled by On/Off, Phase Dimming, and Dali devices. Curtains are controlled by blind actuators, and dry contact for third-party shades. AC I have been using CoolmasternetKNX for integration. Music is integrated through the Control4 system.
2N Doorstation and third-party systems are integrating using Control4. When a person enters into Bedroom our KNX sensor will detect the motion and trigger the signal. By using that we will turn on the light scenes, open the Blackout, close the Sheer, Set AC at 22 degrees, turn on the music through Sonos, and plays a melody in the client playlist. When a person leaves Bedroom our KNX sensor will detect the no motion and trigger the signal. By using that we will turn off the light scenes, close the Blackout, close the Sheer, Set AC at 24 degrees (economy mode), and turn off the music through Sonos. When there is no motion in all the sensors, I will be setting a default set of programs, like all the AC will be going to 24 degrees (economy mode)- saving energy, and all lights will be turned off (except emergency lights), all shades will be closed (to save energy). I will give more intelligence to the whole system so that system will manage energy efficiency and will reduce the energy cost.
